Undergraduate Program

From the 2018 academic year of the University Department, three classes of freshmen will be recruited, among which 54 will be allocated for designated subject examinations, 9 will be recommended by Fanxing, and 110 will be enrolled by individuals. A total of 173 students will be admitted to the department.

Enrollment characteristics of the undergraduate department of this department: With the vigorous development of the global financial market, all kinds of novel financial and insurance products are constantly being introduced, coupled with the opening of Taiwan's financial market, the society has a great demand for talents in "financial engineering" and "actuarial insurance". Demand has increased significantly, and the department's emphasis on the integration of mathematics, management, information, financial engineering and actuarial science, as well as the concept of cross-field integrated training, can cultivate the expertise required for talents in these two fields. This department incorporates the basic knowledge and application integration required for financial engineering and actuarial actuarial calculations into the teaching courses. On the basis of mathematics training and information technology, it emphasizes the two major application fields of financial engineering and actuarial actuarial calculations and the integration between them. Cultivate professionals such as financial risk management and actuaries for the business community, and emphasize the professionalism and complementarity of teachers in terms of curriculum planning and talent development, with the development goal of cultivating students with both theory and technology.
