Demand has increased significantly, and the department's emphasis on the integration of mathematics, management, information, financial engineering and actuarial science, as well as the concept of cross-field integrated training, can cultivate the expertise required for talents in these two fields. This department incorporates the basic knowledge and application integration required for financial engineering and actuarial actuarial calculations into the teaching courses. On the basis of mathematics training and information technology, it emphasizes the two major application fields of financial engineering and actuarial actuarial calculations and the integration between them. Cultivate professionals such as financial risk management and actuaries for the business community, and emphasize the professionalism and complementarity of teachers in terms of curriculum planning and talent development, with the development goal of cultivating students with both theory and technology.

From the 2018academic year of the master's program, a class of 18 students will be recruited, of which 9 will be enrolled in the entrance examination, and 9 will be admitted to the department after taking part in the entrance examination for the master's program of the school.

The master's course of this department incorporates the basic knowledge and application required by financial engineering and actuarial calculation into the teaching content. On the basis of mathematics training and information technology, it emphasizes the two major application fields of financial engineering and actuarial calculation and the integration between them , hoping to train professionals such as financial risk managers and actuaries for the business community.
"Financial Engineering" course: Course planning includes the evaluation of derivative financial products, financial risk management, and financial innovation.
"Actuarial Actuarial" course: The course planning includes insurance commodity pricing, asset liability management, risk management and actuarial examination subjects. .
